Accessing COVID-19 Employee Training

Summary

In response to the COVID19 guidelines that have been given to the College, the Human Resources Department held two live COVID19 Return To Work training sessions in June.  Because this topic is critical to safely returning to work, all employees should take the training.  The instructions below will help you get to the training, watch it, and have your participation successfully recorded.

In response to the COVID19 guidelines that have been given to the College, the Human Resources Department held two live COVID19 Return To Work training sessions in June.  Because this topic is critical to safely returning to work, all employees should take the training.  The instructions below will help you get to the training, watch it, and have your participation successfully recorded.

Finding and Accessing the COVID19 Employee Training

  1. Open either Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
  2. Log in to Cedar Crest Online (Canvas).  To do this, navigate to https://cedarcrest.instructure.com
  3. Log in with your FalconNet username and your FalconNet password.
    Note: Your FalconNet username is the first portion of your email address.  For example, if your FalconNet email address is william.riker@cedarcrest.edu, your FalconNet username is william.riker.
  4. Once you have successfully logged in, you will be presented with your dashboard.  Your dashboard will have the Cedar Crest COVID19 Course.  Click on that course for access.
    Note: You may see a banner at the top of your Canvas screen telling you that you have been invited to the Cedar Crest COVID19 Course.  If you do, you will need to click ACCEPT to access the course.


     
  5. Once you are in the course, you will see the "Welcome to Cedar Crest COVID19 Employee Training" module.  On the left, you will see the link for MEDIASHAREIQ - click that link.



     
  6. This will take you the Cedar Crest's MediaShareIQ system in your personal library.  Next, click on the "hamburger menu" in the upper left of the screen. and select ONLINE COURSES.


     
  7. Then click on the Cedar Crest Covid-19 Training course.



     
  8. Now you will see the training video module, click the Play button to watch the video.


     
  9. At the end of the video, you will be given a brief, exit questionnaire that you will need to answer.
