Visix Cloud - How to create a layout, layout playlist, and apply playlists to players.

This is a quick step by step --- will fill out screenshots later.

Create Layout

• Create the layout in Axis.  The best way to do this is to use an existing layout such as CCC_IT_Playlist_2022, Business_Department, or HBB_Nursing.  These are already set with at ticker, clock, and main area to play slides - plus the campus general (Wide 16x9 Message Playlist) and an additional playlist are already set.   Here is how you do that:
  - Make sure Design is full screen (or you may not be able to open everything - it's weird)
  - Click File --> Layouts -- Select the location and layout and open it.
  - Click on Zones, select the playlist area in the middle, it should open up and show you both playlists.
  - In left pane, click MESSAGES, then the location of your playlist to include in the layout.  Drag and drop it, delete the playlist you no longer want (if that's the case).  All players need the Wide 16x9 Message Playlist.
  - Click File, then Save As, and name it.
  - Click the SYNC THIS bullseye

Create Playlist

• ​​​​Now open Visix Cloud Management Website, and switch to Administer (in the waffle)
• Click Playlists, keep it on Messages
• Click Add, then name your new Playlist.
• Switch to Manage
• Select Playlists
• Select Layout Playlist you just created
• Click Layout
• Select the Layout Playlist you created in Designer

Apply to Player

• Select PC Players
• Find the player in question, select the player
• Click Change Layout Playlist
• Then select the Layout Playlist you want to apply to the player, and click Change Layout Playlist.
