Using Cedar Crest College's BitDefender Licensing

Cedar Crest College has a partnership with BitDefender to offer students free access to the BitDefender Endpoint Protection product.  This product will help protect your personally owned device from malicious software that may download to your computer without your awareness or through opening an errant email from any account (not just Cedar Crest College's Email system).  However, to do this, Cedar Crest College's Office of Information Technology may see reports on the data and information contained on your personal computer in the event of an infection.  This includes dates and times of file access, as well as the names of files on your computer.  This does not include the contents of any of those files.  In the event of no infection, this information will not be recorded by Bitdefender or seen by anyone.
