FalconNet Wireless System (Mac OS)

Campus community directions for accessing the FalconNet Wireless system from a MacOS device.

These directions are from MacOS version 14 and your screen may vary depending on the version of MacOS.

The following steps explain how to connect for the first time. After the initial connection is established, you will connect automatically when you are in range of the network except if there has been a recent FalconNet password change. In that case see the related article attached Troubleshoot FalconNet Wireless Connection (MAC OS).

  1. Click the Wi-Fi icon in the right of the menu bar and select FalconNet under "Other Networks".

  1. Perform the following:
    1. Enter your FalconNet username and password.
    2. Make sure Remember this network is selected and that the drop down menu at the top says "No certificate selected".
    3. Click OK.

  1. Click Continue to verify certificate. You will need to enter your local username and password (your devices account log in information) in order to make changes to your Certificate Trust settings. Click Update Settings to make changes and connect to the FalconNet wireless.
