Body

Purchasing Printer/Photocopier Supplies

Departments are responsible for purchasing their own printer supplies, and re-filling department printers as needed.

For paper and Ricoh multi-function unit toners, please contact Printing Services at printsvcs@cedarcrest.edu.  Make sure to include your department's charge code, and for toner orders, the Ricoh model number.

For all other toner cartridges, supplies can be purchased through WB Mason or other preferred vendor by the department. For additional purchasing questions, please contact Karen Khattari at ext. 3561 or email klkhatta@cedarcrest.edu.

Recycling Used Toners

Departments who wish to recycle their used toner cartridges should return them for free to Dell or HP directly. Please do not send used toner to Information Technology; we do not have the space or the resources to process them.

Information on recycling HP ink and laserjet toner cartridges can be found here:

HP Supplies Recycling Website

Many departments purchase Dell toner through the Dell Premier web page.  When making this purchase, most departments choose the less expensive Use-and-return option. However, you can use this website to return any Dell printer cartridge:

Dell Toner Return Website

  • For 1 cartridge, choose "prepaid single-use toner label" and follow the instructions.
  • For up to 8 cartridges choose "prepaid toner labels" and follow the instructions (you can tape up to 8 together)
