Overview
ArcGIS Pro is available through FalconApps, allowing you to use ArcGIS Pro from your Windows or Mac computer without installing it locally.
Before using ArcGIS Pro, you must first set up FalconApps on your computer:
For instructions on connecting to FalconApps for Windows, click here.
For instructions on connecting to FalconApps for MacOS, click here.
For the best experience, we recommend launching ArcGIS Pro through the FalconApps connection on your computer rather than through a web browser.
Important: You must have permission to use ArcGIS Pro before you can sign in. Students are typically granted access based on their course enrollment.
Launch ArcGIS Pro
- Open your FalconApps connection.
- Locate ArcGIS Pro in the list of available applications.
- Select ArcGIS Pro to launch it.
The first time you launch ArcGIS Pro, it may take a little longer to open while your user profile and application settings are prepared.
Sign Into ArcGIS Pro
- Select Your ArcGIS organization's URL.
-
Enter the Cedar Crest organization name:
cedarcrest
- Check Remember this URL so you do not need to enter it each time.
- Click Continue.

- On the next screen, click the blue Cedar Crest College link.

- You will be redirected to the Microsoft sign-in page. Sign in using your Cedar Crest College email address and password.

- Complete any additional Microsoft authentication prompts if requested.
After authentication is complete, ArcGIS Pro should open and automatically use the license assigned to your Cedar Crest ArcGIS account.
Permission or Access Denied Errors
Access to ArcGIS Pro must be assigned to your Cedar Crest College account.
If you receive a permission, access denied, or similar error:
- Students: Contact your instructor to verify that you should have access to ArcGIS Pro for your course.
- Employees: Contact the Cedar Crest College IT Help Desk for assistance.
If you can successfully sign in but ArcGIS Pro reports that a license is unavailable, contact the IT Help Desk and include a screenshot of the error message.
