Outlook: How to Change Your Time Zone

Overview

If your Outlook calendar is displaying meetings or appointments at the wrong time, you may need to update your time zone settings.

Additional Information

  • Daylight Saving Time: The Eastern Time setting automatically adjusts between Eastern Standard Time (EST) and Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).
  • Existing Meetings: Changing your time zone does not delete or reschedule existing meetings. Outlook adjusts how meeting times are displayed based on your selected time zone.
  • Computer Settings: If your calendar continues to display incorrect times, verify that your Windows time zone is also set to Eastern Time.
