Adobe Creative Cloud: Sign In and Access Applications

Tags Adobe Login

Overview

Adobe Creative Cloud provides access to applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, and other creative tools.

Cedar Crest College students, faculty, and staff who have been granted access to Adobe applications may be required to sign in using their College credentials.

Important: Access to Adobe applications depends on the licenses assigned to your account. Signing in with your Cedar Crest College account does not automatically provide access to every Adobe application.

Sign In to Adobe Creative Cloud

  1. Open an Adobe Creative Cloud application or the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application.
  2. Select Sign In if prompted.
  3. Enter your Cedar Crest College email address.
  4. If Adobe asks you to select an account type, choose Company or School Account.
  5. If redirected to the College's Microsoft sign-in page, enter your Cedar Crest College credentials.
  6. Complete multifactor authentication (MFA), if prompted.
  7. If asked to select an Adobe profile, choose the profile AICUP - Cedar Crest College.
  8. Once signed in, open the Adobe application you want to use.

You can also access Adobe's web-based services at Adobe Creative Cloud.

Understanding Adobe Account Types

Adobe supports several types of accounts, including:

  • Personal Adobe Account (Adobe ID): An account created and managed by an individual.
  • Company or School Account: An account associated with an organization, such as Cedar Crest College.
  • Adobe Profiles: Separate profiles that may appear when an email address is associated with multiple Adobe plans or organizations.

If you have both a personal Adobe account and a College-managed Adobe account, be sure to select the appropriate account and profile.

Note: Files and cloud storage associated with different Adobe accounts or profiles may be separate.

Troubleshooting Sign-In Issues

Adobe Asks You to Purchase or Start a Trial

  • Confirm that you selected your Company or School Account.
  • Check that you are using the correct Adobe profile.
  • Sign out of Adobe and sign back in.
  • Your account may not have a license for the requested application.

You Cannot Sign In

  1. Verify that you entered your full Cedar Crest College email address.
  2. Confirm that you can sign in to other College services.
  3. Close and reopen the Adobe application.
  4. Try signing in again.
  5. If the issue continues, record the error message.

Your Files or Projects Are Missing

If you have multiple Adobe accounts or profiles, verify that you are signed in to the profile where your files were originally saved.

Using Adobe on a Shared Computer

When finished using Adobe on a shared or public computer, sign out of your Adobe account to protect your information.
