The Narrows Digital Commons area was designed to be the hub of innovation, collaboration and a driving force in the creativity of the community at Cedar Crest College. This combination of three rooms features a state-of-the-art 3D printer, Meta Quest-driven virtual and extended reality equipment, and advanced audio/visual equipment that allows for the most immersive meeting experience possible. The combination of technology and design allows for hands-on creativity, enhancing problem-solving and imagining forward. This dynamic ecosystem of technology-driven resources empowers our academic community to push the boundaries of knowledge, engage in new experiences, and inspire the next generation of innovators. The Narrows Digital Commons is where ideas come to life, and our community can embark on transformative experiences.

The Office of Information Technology has put together a comprehensive set of articles to help everyone make the most of the technologies available in The Narrows. In addition, there are regular training and workshop classes that offer a hands-on opportunity to learn how to use the equipment in the best way possible.
