2. Print Job Does Not Appear at the Printer
If you submitted a document but cannot find it:
- Confirm that FalconPrint was selected when printing.
- Verify that the job was submitted without an error.
- Make sure you are signing in at the printer using the correct College account.
- Check for any pending or failed jobs on your computer.
- Try printing a small test document.
If the issue continues, contact IT Support through the request form.
3. FalconPrint Is Asking for a Username or Password
FalconPrint may request authentication when you submit a document.

5. Resetting the Printing System on macOS
If FalconPrint continues to experience problems after reinstalling or removing the printer, you may need to reset the macOS printing system.
Warning: Resetting the printing system removes all printers and scanners configured on your Mac, including personal printers. You will need to reinstall them afterward.
Reset Instructions
- Open Apple menu > System Settings.
- Select Printers & Scanners.
- Control-click (or right-click) in the printers list.
- Select Reset Printing System, if available.
- Confirm the reset.
- Enter your Mac administrator credentials if requested.
- Restart your Mac.
- Reinstall FalconPrint using the College's Mobility Print installation instructions.
If the reset option is unavailable, consult Apple Support – Solve printing problems on Mac or submit an IT Support Request.
Note: Resetting the printing system should be used only after standard troubleshooting has failed.
6. FalconPrint Works on One Device but Not Another
If you can print from one computer but not another:
- Confirm both devices are connected to FalconNet.
- Check whether FalconPrint is installed on the affected device.
- Verify that your operating system is supported.
- Check whether outdated printer settings or credentials are saved.
- Reinstall Mobility Print on the affected device if necessary.
7. Printer Displays an Error or Is Out of Paper
If the physical printer displays an error:
- Check the printer's display for instructions.
- Confirm whether the printer needs paper or has a paper jam.
- Follow any on-screen directions intended for users.
- Do not attempt to open secured panels or perform maintenance that requires technician access.
If the printer remains unavailable, submit an IT Support Request and include the printer's location and displayed error.
