Accessing the Anatomage Table from HBB 9

Overview

The Anatomage table can be remotely accessed from almost anywhere via Teamviewer.  This requires a special login and specific Teamviewer software.  The software is currently only installed in HBB 9.  We strongly recommend that you do this at least one time before attempting to connect in class.

Here is how you access the table from HBB 9.

Accessing the Table from HBB 9

  1. To being, no matter what you are doing with the table, it must be turned on.  Start by flipping the chrome switch on the table and waiting for it to boot to the desktop.  Once it is there, you can go to HBB 9.
  2. Next, login to the computer and wait for the desktop to load.  Once you are at the Desktop, you will see a blue icon with a white circle similar to the one below.  If you do not see it, you can click on the Start Flag and search for Teamviewer.  Once you have located Teamviewer, open Teamviewer.

  3. If this is the first time you are opening Teamviewer on this computer, you will need to log in.  The username is otdtable@cedarcrest.edu, the current password will be provided to you separately.  Click Sign In, then fill in the username and password, then click the Sign In button.
  4. If this is the first time you are using Teamviewer on this computer, it may require multifactor authentication (there is no way around this).  If so, you will need to open your email and wait for an email from Teamviewer, then allow the computer to sign in to Teamviewer.  Once you have done this, you will need to sign in again as in step 3.  Unfortunately, there is out of our control and there is no way around this.

Note: otdtable@cedarcrest.edu is an email group.  Only people in that group are eligible to get emails, and everyone in the group will get all Teamviewer emails.  If you need access to this group, please put in a help desk ticket.

  5. Once you are signed in, you should see OTD Table on the screen.  If you do not, click Computers & Contacts and you will see this:

  6. To connect, double click on TABLE-PC.  It will open a new window, and the connection will take about 10 seconds before it displays the table.  You can now control the table as if you were standing at the table and display this via the projector or Teams.
