Technology Systems Maintenance Schedule

The Office of Information Technology strives to minimize the impact of any major or minor system maintenance and upgrades. However, there are times that some systems must be offline in order to keep them operating properly.  We create and maintain schedules of regular maintenance for our systems, and publish this schedule below as updates to it are necessary.  The chart below details the dates, times and systems that are currently scheduled for maintenance.

Each Tuesday 10:00PM-11:00PM   IT Maintenance Window   Routine server patching Internal College servers are patched on a rotating schedule.  Any outages will be communicated via email and in the Teams System Outage Notifications channel.
             
05/07/21 Morning   Microsoft Teams   Creation of Summer I Term Class Teams Teams for courses will be created, students then be added.
06/02/21
 
5:00PM-6:00PM   MyCedarCrest (JICS) and Finish Line (Retention) Module   Upgrade to the latest versions. The core service (JICS) for MyCedarCrest and the Retention (FinishLine) system will both be upgraded at this time.  They will be unavailable during this time period.
06/18/21 Morning   Microsoft Teams   Creation of Summer II Term Class Teams Teams for courses will be created, students then be added.
07/06/21 5:00PM-12:00AM   Jenzabar One and all associated systems (MyCedarCrest, Access Reports, Infomaker, PowerFAIDS).   Jenzabar One will be upgraded to 2021.1 This is our annual, major version upgrade to Jenzabar.  All associated systems (including MyCedarCrest) will be offline during this upgrade.  More details will be communicated via email and in the Teams System Outage Notifications channel.
