For department computers that are used by students.
Directions
Open the Start Menu and click on
Settings
.
Click on
Bluetooth & devices
.
Click on
Printers & Scanners
.
Next to
Add a printer or scanner
, click on
Add device
.
After Windows searches for connected devices for a while, the option
The printer that I want isn't listed
will appear. Click the
Add manually
link next to this.
Under Find a printer by other option
s, choose
Select a shared printer by name
.
In the text field, enter the full printer name then click
Next
.
To only print to student-facing printers, type
\\ccc-papercut2\FalconPrint
To print to all Ricoh devices including departmental, type
\\ccc-papercut2\EmployeePrint
You should receive a message that the printer successfully installed. Click
Next
to finish and close out of all windows.
