Password Change Policy
Employees:
Jenzabar ID Number:
- If the employee can access their College email address, the ID number is sent to their College email account.
- If they cannot access their email, and they are a current employee, the ID number can be given in the following formats:
- In person, where the employee must provide a valid photo ID.
- Sent to the personal email address listed in InfoNet.
- Provided via the department’s admin, supervisor, or Human Resources.
My CedarCrest Password:
My CedarCrest passwords are given in person at the Curtis Helpdesk or delivered to the employee’s College email address ONLY.*
*Note: Student Consultants do not have access to My CedarCrest Passwords. They use the password reset portlet in My CedarCrest, which automatically sends a new randomly generated password to the employee’s College email address. An IT staff member must print out a letter containing passwords for walk-ins.
Students:
Student ID Number
- If the student still has access to their College email address, the ID number is sent to their College email account.
- If they cannot access their email, or they are no longer a student, the ID number can be given in the following formats:
- In person, where the student must provide a valid photo ID.
- Sent to the personal email address listed in InfoNet. If this address is no longer valid, information must be mailed.
- Sent to the mailing address listed in InfoNet. If this address is no longer valid, student must recite old mailing address verbatim. If correct, information will be mailed to new mailing address.
My CedarCrest Password:
- If the student still has access to their College email address, the password is sent to their College email account.
- If they cannot access their email, or they are no longer a student, the ID number can be given in the following formats:
- In person, where the student must provide a valid photo ID.*
- Sent to the personal email address listed in InfoNet. If this address is no longer valid, information must be mailed.
- Sent to the mailing address listed in InfoNet. If this address is no longer valid, student must recite old mailing address verbatim. If correct, information will be mailed to new mailing address.
