Media Requests

To request media for your course(s), please use the new Media Request form, which is located at the link below. Any questions about using the form should be sent to avsvcs@cedarcrest.edu, or you can contact Judy Titus at ext. 3388.

Available Media Formats & Titles

The following Audio Visual formats are available to the Cedar Crest Community:

  • Videotapes
  • Compact Discs
  • CD-ROMS
  • Cassette Tapes

To search for available titles:

  1. Go to http://library.cedarcrest.edu
  2. Choose "WorldCat Local"
  3. Choose "Advanced Search"
  4. Enter your search terms for keyword, title or author
  5. Scroll down to narrow your search
  6. At format select "visual material"
  7. In the results list, click a title for more information.

Materials may be used in the Library or may circulate for a 3 day loan period. During working hours, materials must be checked out in Audio Visual Services on the Terrace Level. Hours are Monday through Thursday 12 noon to 6:00 p.m. and Friday 12 noon to 3:30 p.m. After hours, users must complete an Audio Visual Request Form and submit it at the Information Services desk. The materials will be available at the Lending Services Desk by 10 a.m. the next day or Monday morning if requested after 3:30 p.m. Friday.
