Overview
IBM SPSS Statistics is available through FalconApps, allowing you to use SPSS from your Windows or Mac computer without installing SPSS locally.
Before using SPSS, you must first set up FalconApps on your computer:

For the best experience, we recommend launching SPSS through the FalconApps connection on your computer rather than through a web browser.
Launch SPSS
- Open your FalconApps connection.
- Locate IBM SPSS Statistics in the list of available applications.
- Select IBM SPSS Statistics to launch the application.
The first time you launch SPSS, it may take a little longer to open while your user profile and application settings are prepared.
First-Time SPSS Licensing
The first time you launch SPSS through FalconApps, you may be prompted to authorize the SPSS license.
- When the licensing window appears, select Apply Existing License.
- SPSS will verify the license provided through FalconApps.
- Once licensing is complete, SPSS will open and be ready to use.
You should not need to complete this process again unless SPSS is upgraded or the application's licensing configuration changes.
Future Use
After the initial setup, simply open FalconApps and select IBM SPSS Statistics whenever you need to use the application.
Your SPSS license is provided through Cedar Crest College, so you do not need to purchase or enter your own license information.
SPSS Files on macOS
If you experience problems opening or saving SPSS files directly to your Mac while using FalconApps, save the file to your H: drive instead. You can then use Microsoft Edge within FalconApps to move the file between your H: drive and OneDrive.
