Overview
FalconApps allows you to access College-owned software from your Mac without installing the software locally. Applications run through Cedar Crest College servers but appear and function much like applications installed directly on your computer.
You only need to complete the FalconApps setup once on your Mac.
Before getting started:
- Make sure macOS is fully updated.
- An internet connection is required to use FalconApps.
- You will need to install the free Windows App from the Apple App Store.
- If you are prompted to accept or trust a security certificate when connecting or launching an application, accept the certificate to continue.
Set Up FalconApps
1. Install Windows App
Open the App Store on your Mac.
Search for Windows App by Microsoft and install it.
Once installation is complete, open Windows App.
2. Add the FalconApps Workspace
In Windows App, select Connections, and then select Add Workspace.
