Office 365 Accounts After Exiting College
Eligibility for your Cedar Crest email account will end one year after graduation, or two years after the date of your last course with the College due to non enrollment or leave of absence.
Several notifications will be sent before the account closes to provide time to create a new account elsewhere and move any messages or files you want to keep.
What Will Be Deactivated:
- Campus computer and wireless network access
- Office 365 email account and Office 365 applications including OneDrive.
What Will Be Retained:
- My CedarCrest Account
- Graduating students will retain their access to My CedarCrest in perpetuity.
- Please make sure to retain your student id number and password for My CedarCrest, and to keep your address updated with the Alumnae Office. Exited students may only receive their My CedarCrest login information via the personal email address listed in our system.
What You Need to do Before Deactivation:
- Forward any important email from your Cedar Crest College email to a personal email address. Note: Moving or copying your email needs to be done before your Office 365 account closes.
- Download any OneDrive files you wish to keep.
- Update your email address information with contacts and online accounts connected to your Cedar Crest College email address.
- Update your personal email address with the College to help us better assist you after graduation. You can do this online here: Cedar Crest College Alumnae Update
