Connecting Your Laptop to the Screens in The Narrows Wirelessly

Overview

The Narrows Digital Commons area was designed to be the hub of innovation, collaboration and a driving force in the creativity of the community at Cedar Crest College.  This combination of three rooms features wireless presentation capabilities powered by BARCO.  These BARCO wireless presentation modules are easy to use and offer a great wireless experience.

Connecting to the TVs in Room #1 and #2 in The Narrows

1. On the button pad near the TV, press the button to turn the TV on.
2. On the button pad near the TV, press the button labeled CLICK A orCLICK B (depending on which room you are in).
3. Grab one of the USB BARCO dongles, and plug it into the USB port on your computer.
4. The USB dongle will blink white while the software is installing. The software should install on its own.  If it does not, you can navigate to the device via File Explorer (Windows) or Finder (MacOS) and launch the installer.
5. Once the installation is complete, the dongle will change colors to red.
6. Once the dongle is red, you can connect by pressing the button in the middle.  This will connect you to the screen in the room.
