Accessing CANVAS

Login Credentials

Instructors will use their FalconNet username and password. Please Note: Your FalconNet username is the prefix of your College email address (ie, jasmith for jasmith@cedarcrest.edu)

CANVAS Login Page

First Semester Instructors

New instructors must be assigned to a course in Jenzabar before they are created as a user in CANVAS the first time.

  1. The department chair or admin must contact the Registrar's Office on the instructor's behalf, requesting that they be assigned to the appropriate course.
  2. Once a new instructor is assigned to a course, their CANVAS account will be created overnight. 
  3. Once your account is created, you will be able to login at any time, and access future courses as they are assigned to you.
