Follow the steps below to connect your Windows 11 computer to the FalconNet wireless network for the first time. After you successfully connect, your computer should automatically reconnect to FalconNet whenever the network is available.
Before you begin: Make sure Wi-Fi is turned on. If you do not see Wi-Fi as an option, your computer may have a physical Wi-Fi switch or a keyboard key that enables wireless connections.
Connect to FalconNet
- Click the Network/Wi-Fi icon on the right side of the Windows taskbar, next to the date and time.
- Click the arrow next to Wi-Fi to display the available wireless networks.
- Select FalconNet.
- Make sure Connect automatically is selected, then click Connect.
-
When prompted, enter your:
- Cedar Crest email address
- FalconNet password
Then click OK or Connect.
Having trouble signing in? If your full Cedar Crest email address does not work, try entering only your FalconNet username instead.
- Windows may display a message asking if you want to continue connecting or trust the network's security certificate. Click Connect to continue.
- Once connected, FalconNet should display as Connected in your list of Wi-Fi networks.
Your computer should now automatically connect to FalconNet whenever you are on campus and the network is available.
