Overview
In Infomaker 2019, the Config tool has been deprecated, and the Database Painter replaces it. Before you can connect to a database (such as Jenzabar), you will need to run the Database Painter. Here are basic instructions on how to do that with a sample database.
Directions
- Launch Infomaker 2019
- Next, click Tools --> then Database Painter

- Now right-click on ODB ODBC as the Database Interface, then click Create New Profile

- Now, fill in the following fields:
Profile Name: Give it a name you will recognize
Data Source: Select the appropriate data source (which should already be configured in your ODBC Connections),
User ID: fill in your username (if you leave this blank, it will prompt you every time you use it)
Password: fill in your password ((if you leave this blank, it will prompt you every time you use it)
Leave everything else as the default, and click OK.

- When you load the PBL in the first time, you will see this dialog to choose a database profile. Select the appropriate one, and click Connect.
