Update Chosen/Campus Name in My CedarCrest

Overview

Cedar Crest College recognizes the need or preference for members of the College community to refer to themselves by a first name other than their legal first name. Individual do not have to enter a chosen name. This is a service for people who wish to be known by other than their legal name throughout college systems. Please see policy and FAQ for details on current process, timeline of change, and limitation of this process.

Directions

  1. After logging into My CedarCrest, click on your Account icon in the top right corner of the window, and choose My Profile and Settings.
  2. Click on the About Me tab.
  3. Expand the About Me section, then expand the Chosen/Campus Name section.
  4. Make your preferred changes on the screen. Click Save when completed.

NOTE: These changes are not immediate. All name changes are submitted to the Registrar’s Office for approval before they are updated on your account.
