Cedar Crest College recognizes the need or preference for members of the College community to refer to themselves by a first name other than their legal first name. Individual do not have to enter a chosen name. This is a service for people who wish to be known by other than their legal name throughout college systems. Please see policy and FAQ for details on current process, timeline of change, and limitation of this process.

Directions
- After logging into My CedarCrest, click on the Registrar Tab.
- Under the Student Portals section, click on the Student Information link.
- Under Student Information Forms, click on the Change your Campus/Display Name link.
If you want your email address and Address book information to reflect your name change, please choose that in the form. A ticket will be sent to Information Technology on your behalf. You will receive a notification from their office once it is complete.
NOTE: These changes are not immediate. All name changes are submitted to the Registrar’s Office for approval before they are updated on your account.
