Recovering Deleted Mail Items
Sometimes items are deleted from our inbox, either by an errant click of the mouse, by a rule that we created, or by a malicious process on our computers. The good news is that these are generally recoverable for up to 60 days, even if the Trash has been cleared. Here's how:
Recovering Deleted Outlook Mail Items
- Open a web browser (we recommend Edge or Chrome) and navigate to https://office.com
- Click on the blue Outlook icon on the left side of the page.
- Click on Deleted Items
- You will now see all of the items in your Deleted Items/Trash that you can drag and drop back into your Inbox or Outlook Folders. Need more? Keep reading!
- Click on Recover items deleted from this folder at the top of the column.
- You will now see all of the deleted items in the recoverable folder that you can move where you need them, similar to step #4.
