MacOS - Deleting Password and Re-Adding FalconPrint

Overview

If you are unable to print from your MacOS device, you may need to update your FalconNet password and reinstall FalconPrint, 

Directions

  1. Open up LaunchPad.

  1. Open Other.

  1. Open Keychain Access.

  1. Within Keychain Access, click on Login on the Left hand navigation.  Then click on ALL ITEMS on the tabs at the top.
  2. Scroll down to see if FalconPrint exists on the list.  If it does, highlight, right-click, and click delete.
  3. Close Keychain Access.
  4. Click on the Apple and select System Preferences.
  5. Within System Preferences, select Printers & Scanners.

  1. If FalconPrint is listed, select it and then click on the minus “ - “ button below the list of Printers. 

     
  2. Once FalconPrint has been deleted, click on the plus “ + “ button to add a new printer.
  3. In the Discovered printers window, select FalconPrint.  If more than one FalconPrint is listed, select the one that fills in Secure Air Print at the USE section below.
  4. Click on the ADD button.

  1. Once FalconPrint has been added, you can test out the setup by sending a print job to FalconPrint.
  2. Make sure that you are prompted for your Cedar Crest username and password.  Once prompted, enter your username (without the @cedarcrest.edu) and password.
