FalconNet Wireless System Guest Access

Overview

If you are visiting Cedar Crest College, you can register for free Wi-Fi access on the FalconGuest network. Once you are registered and receive your password, you will be able to log in to the FalconGuest wireless network for up 4 hours. If you need additional time, you can simply re-register.

NOTE: FalconGuest is only available in public buildings on campus, and is not available in the residence halls.

Directions

1. Connect to the FalconGuest network by selecting it from the list of available Wi-Fi networks.
2. Next, if your web browser doesn't automatically open, make sure to open it.
3. In the Guest Registration window, perform the following:
   1. Type your name.
   2. Type your email address.
   3. Click the box next to I accept the terms of use. Then click Register.
4. A confirmation window appears with your username and guest password. Copy this password because you will need it to connect to FalconGuest wireless.
5. Click Login.

NOTE for Windows 10 users:

If you are using Chrome or Firefox as your default browser, and click Register or Log In, the certificate acceptance window pops up behind your browser in Edge.  If the wireless doesn't connect right away, be sure to look for this window, as you won't be able to use the wireless until your accept that certificate.
